At Valuestream we manage a wide range of segregated investment accounts with different risk profiles and target returns. Our investment management services are catered to individuals, companies, trusts and institutions.
Client assets are managed through a private personal account in the client’s own name held at an independent custodian bank selected by the client himself. We have discretion to trade securities on client accounts but do not have permission to transfer cash. This structure ensures maximum asset protection to our clients.
Our clients have full transparency on how their assets are invested in real time, as well as the ability to deposit and withdraw funds. Through internet access to their own account, clients can easily keep track of which securities they own and have been bought or sold. In addition, our clients can contact us directly at their discretion for any question they may have on their portfolio. We encourage periodic reviews of the investment strategy, performance and objectives.
The independent custodian banks are available to provide assistance to clients with their yearly income tax returns in order to ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
Minimising the costs incurred by clients is core in our proposition. We do not invest in traditional asset management instruments (mutual funds, hedge funds, structured products) which are expensive and lack transparency and liquidity. We do not accept rebates from banks, fund managers or any other service provider, thus minimising costs for our clients and eliminating potential conflicts of interest. No entry fees or exit fees are charged and contract termination is immediate. Our clients know precisely how much they are being charged for our services.
Ancillary activities are outsourced to leading external service providers allowing to focus on what we consider key: investment analysis, portfolio management and client service.
